The countdown is on. In exactly 8 weeks, ITC London returns so here’s me marking the occasion with my first blog post.

As Portfolio Director, I get to see this conference come together piece by piece, and the growth from our first edition to this second year has been remarkable. This year feels different in all the best ways. Here’s what has me excited:

 

1. The Challenge Lab (Brand New Format!)

I'm particularly excited about this one because it's completely new territory for us. The Challenge Lab puts real-world problem-solving front and centre, with Generali sponsoring our inaugural edition. Generali will present a genuine business challenge, and startups will pitch innovative solutions in real-time. It's live, it's practical, and it's the kind of collaborative problem-solving that drives real innovation.

 

2. The Codebreakers Theme

This year's theme is Codebreakers, a nod to London's history at the intersection of insurance and intelligence. It's become a framework for how I've been thinking about the content: focused on solving complex problems, encouraging collaboration, and cutting through industry complexity with clarity and strategy.

 

3. Executive Keynote Series

Day one kicks off with powerhouse perspectives from three executives shaping the future of transformation: Jane Kielty (CEO, Aon UK), Louise O'Shea (CEO, CFC), and Ashok Krishan (Chief Innovation, Data and Analytics Officer, AXA XL). After their individual keynotes, they'll join a panel discussion moderated by Sabine VanderLinden to dig deeper into what transformation really means when the rubber meets the road.

 

4. Meeting Zone

This is consistently where the magic happens. Our Meeting Zone ranks as the busiest area on the expo floor because attendees pack months worth of meetings into two concentrated days. Hundreds of conversations, introductions, and partnerships will unfold here. If your diary isn't already filling up, it should be.

 

5. Women in Insurance Breakfast Meetup

The Women in Insurance breakfast brings together leaders and rising talent for meaningful dialogue in a more intimate setting. It was one of the most popular meetups at ITC Europe in May and we really wanted bring this to our London event. We’re hoping this will be a space for connection, conversation, and building community. This will take place on 27 Jan, at 8am. 

 

6. Innovation Zone

The Innovation Zone gives early-stage startups real room to show what they can do. See the tech live, meet the founders, and discover the next big thing in Insurtech before everyone else.

 

7. Startup Showcase

Eight minutes. One stage. Your best pitch. The Startup Showcase gives early-stage companies the spotlight to present their vision to an audience of investors, partners, and potential customers from across the insurance industry.

 

8. Drinks reception

Wrap up the first day with our drink’s reception, It's where the formal programming ends and the real connections happen.

 

Eight weeks. Eight reasons. One unmissable event.
