Matthew Jones leads the Business Development group at MS Transverse and also heads Transverse Ventures, the firm’s venture capital arm. He joined MS Transverse in May 2024. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Strategy Officer at Cowbell, a U.S. cyber insurance MGA, where he oversaw corporate strategy and key growth initiatives. Before Cowbell, Matthew was a Managing Director at Anthemis Group, investing across insurance and risk management. He began his career at Swiss Re in London and later in Zurich, working in strategy and corporate development at the group level.
